1.   Add undiluted white vinegar in an empty spraying bottle. Spray it on the mold stains. Allow it to set in for few minutes.

3.   Add one chlorine bleach in five parts of water and mix it well. Apply it on the stain and rub it with the rag. Leave it there for twenty minutes after which you can rinse it off with water.

5.   For darker and older stains it is important that you use two or two and half parts of bleach to five parts of water. In such cases you can also add lemon juice to make the solution more effective.

6.   The bath tub should be wiped and dried after washing so that no further mold develops on it.

Method 3

·       Brush for scrubbing and rubbing purposes.
·       Chlorine bleach.
·       A gallon of water.
·       Water proof gloves.
·       Old tooth brush.
·       Detergent.
·       Paper towels.


Steps:

1.   Before you go on washing and using detergents to treat the mold stains. It is important to first remove the dust particles and dried up mold with the help of a scrubbing brush. It should be collected in paper towels which should be immediately disposed.

2.   Then add half cup of bleach in one gallon of water and mix it. Scrub the mixture on the desired stain area. Mixing should be done while wearing water proof gloves for your safety of health. Scrubbing can be done with the help of tooth brush in areas that a normal brush cannot clean or scrub.

3.   After an hour, rinse your bath tub and curtains with detergent and water, the mold stains will be removed.
