How to Remove Mold Stains from Vinyl



Mold stains are common especially on vinyl if enough care if not done. Well you do not have to worry much as there are many methods of removing these stains keeping in mind that the key to removing any stain is remove it as soon as possible. The methods mentioned in these articles are those in which consumers would have to do much hassle. You can adopt any one of the following methods for the stain removal.


Method 1 (Using Star Brite)

Things you will be required:

·      Star Brite mildew stain remover.
·      Tissues or paper towels.

Steps:

1.   You just need few bucks to purchases Star Brite stain remover and you will be free of any stains. After you have purchased it you may read the instructions mentioned on it.

2.   Pour few drops of the liquid on tissue and then rub it on your stain area.

3.   Keep adding more until the entire stain area has been covered.

4.   You stain will be removed within no time.


Method 2 (Using White Vinegar)

Things you will be required:

·      White vinegar or milk.
·      Cup of water.
·      Empty spray bottle.
·      Pan.
·      Warm water.
·      Sponge.

Steps:

1.   First, combine half cup of white vinegar with one cup of water and mix it well. Then pour it in an empty spraying bottle.

2.   If you do not have white vinegar you may also use milk as a replacement. Pour some milk in a pan, and then boil it. Once boiled, combine half cup of milk with one cup of water and pour the mixture in an empty spraying bottle.

3.   Spray your solution on the stain area making sure you cover the entire stain area. Then after few minutes you may wipe off the solution with a sponge and the stain should be gone.

Tips and Warnings:

1.   Do not completely soak your vinyl with stain remover solution, as drying it can then take lots of time.

2.   Wear gloves when making as well as applying the solution.
