·      Butter knife

Steps that you will need to take:

1.   Scrape off the dried up or fresh mustard from the jeans. Scrape inwards towards the center of the stain in case it is fresh.

2.   Now in the empty bowl mix one tablespoon rubbing alcohol and three table spoons of dishwashing liquid. Mix the two with the back of the spoon you used.

3.   Fold a cleaning towel and put under the stains so that when you do the next step the stains don’t get on the clean side of the jeans.

4.   Take the butter knife and apply the mixture to the stained jeans. Make sure you cover the mustard stains. Leave the mixture on for about ten minutes.

5.   Rinse the stains with warm water and put the jeans in laundry and wash as usual.

6.   Air dries the jeans after they are washed. This will result in a successful stain removal.
