How to Remove Lipstick Stains From Lips

You have come home from a party and now you want to remove the lipstick stain from your lips as soon as possible, however, you know it cannot be removed so soon.

 It is often the dark lipstick that results in a stain because they set in; that is the color sets in the skin which becomes difficult to remove with an ordinary soap. Often water proof lipsticks are also very difficult to remove because they get permanent. There are two main methods that you can adopt to remove lipstick stains from your lips. You can adopt any one of the following methods for the stain removal.

Method 1 (Using Olive Oil)

Things you will be required:

·      Cotton buds.

·      Olive oil.

·      Clean cotton swab.

·      Water.

·      Face wash.

Steps:

1.   First of all, dip a cotton bud in olive oil. Don't dip too much, dip very carefully and from where you are holding it do not dip that part. Then rub it on your lips.

2.   Wipe your lips with clean cotton swap.

3.   Wash your face with a face-wash and your lips will be stain free.

Method 2 (Using Oil Free makeup Remover)

Things you will be required:

·      Oil free makeup remover.

·      Cotton swab

Steps:

1.   First dab a little oil free makeup remove with a cotton swab. Then rub the tip on your lip line just like a pencil eraser, similarly you have to use that.

2.   Then move from outwards to inwards reaching the entire lip with your cotton swab and you will be free of any stain.

Tips and Warnings:

1.  Do not clean your lips with harsh shampoos or detergents as it can affect the skin harshly.

2.  When using lip cleaners make sure you use of well-known companies and often advice should be taken as to which company's brand should be used and which brand will suit your skin.
