Things that you will require:

·      Paper towel

·      Bleach

·      Cold water

·      Soft bristled tooth brush

·      Isinglass

·      Shallow pan

·      Blotting paper

Steps that you need to take:

1.  First of all, you need to take hold of an absorbent paper towel. Fold this paper towel into a square.

2.  Dab this towel into a strong bleach solution slightly and use it to rub the coffee stained area.

3.  Continue rubbing gently until the stain disappears.

If the paper you are dealing with is water proof and its ink doesn’t run due to water, then there is an alternative method which can be deployed as well.

1.  Soak the stained paper overnight in cold water. Rub it with fingers.

2.  Then take hold of a shallow pan and dissolve isinglass which is a form of collagen made from fish in water. The temperature of this water should be maintained at 175 degrees Fahrenheit.

3.  Place the sheet of paper which has been stained with coffee in this mixture for a few seconds and then remove it swiftly.

4.  Finally, get hold of two sheets of blotting paper and dry the previously stained paper between them.

Warning:

DONOT opt for the latter method in case you aren’t sure that the paper is water resistant. To make sure that it is water proof indeed, clip a few pieces of this paper and soak it overnight. If paper stays unaffected, only then proceed with the method.
