Things that you will require:

·      Cold water
·      Tub/basin
·      2 table spoons of salt
·      Shampoo

Steps that you need to take:


1.  First of all, you need to flush away the maximum stain under cold water. Hold the stained fabric underneath a running tap and allow the cold water to remove this stain. You will probably have to keep it there for a considerably longer time, if the stain which you are dealing with happens to be old.

2.  Afterwards, take some cold water into a tub or fill the basin with this water.

3.  Allow the blood stained fabric to soak in this water for almost 15 minutes.

4.  Then, take one table spoon of salt and apply it onto the blood stain. Using a circular motion work it thoroughly onto the stain.

5.  After the application of this salt, pour some shampoo onto the stained area, yet do not rinse away the salt.

6.  Work the shampoo onto the stain with a similar circular motion until it starts foaming and lather is produced.

7.  This should be followed by another spoon full of salt.

8.  Carefully rub this salt and shampoo mixture onto the blood stain, until it starts disappearing.

9.   Finally wash the garment like you normally do.

Warnings:

1.  Never use hot water with a blood stain.

2.  Make sure that the stain has gone satisfactorily, before placing the garment into dryer. This is because; heat from the dryer might set the stain further.
