How to Remove Hair Dye Stains from Face

Procedure for each method:

1.   First of all, the safest of all methods is the use of Olive Oil. Olive oil can claim a hoard of benefits to its name and stain removal is just one of these. Take a cotton ball and dip it in olive oil. Use this cotton ball to rub the stained area gently. Keep rubbing until the stain fades or disappears.

2.   If the stain has steeped in deeper into your facial skin, then we can make use of a facial cleanser. If olive oil doesn’t work, then take a facial cleanser and mix it with some baby oil. Apply this mixture onto the stained area, and using a wash cloth work onto the hair dye stain. Rub gently so as not to damage your skin, and work in circular motions. Continue this procedure until the stain starts beginning to disappear.


3.   Nail polish remover has also yielded satisfactory results when it comes to hair dye stain removal. It can work well with stubborn stains but make sure that your skin is not sensitive, otherwise opt for some alternative method. Take some nail polish remover on a cotton ball and use it to gently rub the stained area. Hopefully the hair dye stain will begin to disappear from your face.

4.   Vinegar is a renowned cleansing agent and has a miraculous potential of removing a variety of stains. Take a cotton ball and soak it in vinegar. Hold this cotton ball onto the stain for a few minutes so that your skin can absorb vinegar oozing out from the ball. Next, use this cotton ball to rub the stained area gently.

5.   At times the dye stain which you are faced with is easy to get rid of. At other times it tends to persist; and in such cases we make use of a strong cleaning solution comprising of baking soda and dish washing liquid. Apply this mixture onto the stained area and let it sit in for a few minutes. Afterwards wash it off with warm water.
