Method One (Freezing the Wax)

the water has cooled down, the wax will automatically solidify.

solidified wax will be floating on top of the glass and can then be easily

some dish washing detergent and soak the glass in this hot water.

Wax
will have melted by now, and you can effectively get rid of it by giving a
slight pull or gently scraping it with a blunt knife.

The
remnants can be washed away with the dish washing detergent.

Eventually
you will end up with glass which is free of all remains of candle wax.
Precautions:
Make
sure that you do not let the melted wax go down the drain. For, it would
solidify and cause a blockage, consequently ending up in a lot of trouble for
you.
